CEOAs the founder of O Negative Media and co-founder of Ignition Interactive, Walter developed social apps and games used by millions of monthly users. An unintentional pioneer of the caveman diet for the last 20 years, he starred in commercials broadcast throughout Latin America and sold his first screenplay to a Hollywood studio.

Eytan Elbaz
CSOEytan was a co-founder of Applied Semantics, which created the AdSense product that was acquired by Google in 2003 in a nine figure acquisition. He created video shorts on bullying that are currently on exhibit at the Museum of Tolerance, and played in a band that opened for Tom Petty at UCLA.

Andy Kleinman
CBOPreviously a GM at Zynga, Andy is a startup veteran, wearing many hats as a founder, executive, investor and advisor. After founding Emepe3.com at 17, he went on to co-found Vostu. Shortly thereafter he joined Three Melons, which was acquired by Playdom, then Disney. Andy has also produced feature films in five countries.

Ankur Bulsara
CTOPreviously the Lead Software Developer on MySpace's Developer Platform, Ankur was a software architect at several startups before co-founding Scopely. He's also well known as a professional drummer who previously toured with his band, Seneca Hawk.

Eric Futoran
VP, Revenue & OperationsA startup veteran with four degrees (EE, CS, JD, MBA), Eric led the pivot that shifted Aggregate Knowledge to an agency business model and built Hooked Media's gaming network of over 300 publishers. Despite a lifetime of aggressive hockey-playing, he still has a full set of his own teeth.

Margaret Orenstein
Director, Growth OperationsDespite her lifelong dream of working at a grocery store checkout, Margaret ended up with a Harvard MBA and became a management consultant. She prides herself on being “normal” even though she was one of seven children, has traveled to 40 countries and lived in a country that starts with “K” (Kuwait, of course).

Jason Weiss
General ManagerAfter graduating with two degrees from Stanford, Jason helped grow Trilogy Software from a few dozen to 1,200 employees and served as its European Managing Director. A veteran of multiple startups, he has also produced several independent feature films and racked up over three million frequent-flier miles.

Justin Stofle
Lead iOS DeveloperAn accomplished indie game developer, Justin once built his own social network and sold one of his iOS games to a funded startup. His passion for building dates back to age 12 (when he built several computers) and even further back to age 2 (when he used to take doorknobs apart and put them back together).

Travis Chen
Chief Game DesignerPreviously a Design Programmer for Guitar Hero and a Lead Mission Designer on an upcoming Call of Duty title, Travis has run 9 marathons and is mentally prepping for his 10th. His long history of hardware hacking includes a MIDI synthesizer from a Commodore 64, a light sensor driven synth inside a Nintendo ROB, and an 8x8 arcade button Monome matrix.

Bill Kang
Director of Strategic InitiativesBill has a bachelor's degree from Harvard, an MBA from Wharton, and should probably have an honorary PhD in terrible puns. Raised in Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines, he's also a street musician and lapsed Eagle Scout.

Lead Platform DeveloperAs a college student, Mike was hired by his school's VP of Technology to hack and discover flaws and vulnerabilities in the school's networks. He also achieved a perfect score on his SATs and once raised a pig. Today, his obsession with elegant code is matched only by his passion for craft beers.

Dr. Eric Kabisch
User Experience LeadWith a PhD from UC Irvine in Informatics and an MFA in Art Computation Engineering, Eric's specialty lies at the intersection of art, games, and computer science. Previous projects include light-seeking robots, breathalyzer-based game interfaces, and his beloved augmented reality Volkswagen Vanagon.

Aaron Geisler
Lead Game Engine DeveloperA game engine savant, Aaron has been building his own indie games since the age of 14. Despite having the drawing abilities of a 2nd grader, his numerous iOS and Flash titles exhibit his world-class animation skills and uncanny understanding of game physics.

Avram Lyon
Lead Android DeveloperA highly active open source project contributor, Avram is one of Scopely's most prolific and versatile engineers. Fluent in six spoken languages and conversant in six more, he's also earning a PhD at UCLA in Colonial Literatures of the Russian Empire. Seriously.

Platform PartnershipsA Harvard graduate and entertainment startup veteran, Henry's BD expertise makes him uniquely qualified to build lasting and valuable partnerships. He is an avid runner who is currently training to complete the Los Angeles marathon... barefoot.

Product ManagerOriginally from Kyrgyzstan, Ilias lived in New Delhi, London, Boston, Beijing, and San Francisco before ultimately landing in Los Angeles. An ex-Zyngite and Scotch connoisseur, he's played chess with a World Champion and can name the make/model of any car on sight.

Director, Special ProjectsRaised in a family of entrepreneurs, in the 4th grade Lauren founded an import business to sell her peers much sought-after Tamagotchis and Razor Scooters, then astutely spent the profits on Apple stock. More recently, she helped manage nearly 40 start-ups at StartEngine, an LA-based accelerator.

Artist/IllustratorA naturally gifted illustrator, Nolan's talents became clear moments after he grasped his first crayon, and his work has since been featured across his home state of Kansas and the interwebs. Despite being born nearly blind, he once chased down an armed street thief and single-handedly turned him in to the authorities.

Fabrizio Milo
Platform DeveloperRaised on an olive grove in Southern Italy (where, he notes, computers were considered tools of the devil), Fabrizio previously worked on high performance computing at IBM and high frequency trading at FATTOC. His masters thesis on using GPUs to decrypt OpenPGP keyrings was published internationally.

DesignerIn addition to being an expert in two of the four elements of hip hop (turntablism and grafitti art), Kris is an accomplished and multi-talented designer who honed his skills creating designs for Martha Stewart and Blue Man Group before making his mark at Scopely.

Platform DeveloperJameel shelved his dream of becoming a professional base-jumper-slash-scuba-diver to join Scopely. A former president of the Linux Users Group at UCLA, he and a friend single-handedly created their high school CS program.

Mobile DeveloperA semi-finalist in Microsoft's Imagine Cup, Tim once built a robot that's used by researchers to inspect insect specimens at the Smithsonian and other leading institutions. In his spare time, he creates his own indie iOS games and is a member of a top-ranked guild in World of Warcraft.

Business DevelopmentMartin hails from Estonia by way of The Netherlands, where he organized sessions of the European Youth Parliament and worked in corporate development and financial services. He has a twin, which is a popular theory for explaining his extraordinary throughput.

As a new father, Matt spends his free time raising the next generation of gamer.

RecruiterA former competitive wakeboarder, Jaclyn was the first of her family to leave Michigan when she became employee #2 of the NY fitness wear brand that holds the Guinness Record for “Most Expensive Sports Bra.” Instrumental in doubling the size of her last startup to 85 people, Jaclyn's blinged-out pink laptop is a source of constant envy at Scopely HQ.

QA EngineerA math phenom, Peter once took first place in a New England-wide math competition and later earned his grocery money playing poker. As Scopely's Quality Assurance lead, he has a keen eye for the vulnerabilities in existing systems. He once used that skill to get his satirical piece on a purported link between beer pong and STDs reported as fact by Fox News.

Content StrategistNick went from playing timpani alongside the LA Philharmonic in high school to producing festival-honored films at Brown and Northwestern, with a Georgetown law degree sandwiched in between. When not performing sketch comedy or composing electronic music, he is Scopely’s Content Strategist, putting his stamp on everything from app store optimization to recruiting and much more.

Director, Product ManagementTiago’s precocious election to the Assembly of Lisbon, Portugal at 19 was foreshadowed decades earlier, when he joyrode the family tractor at the age of three. A rabid sports fan and closet card shark, he is the one guy you don’t want at your poker table.

Despite an utter lack of programming experience, Craig earned an MS in Game Development from DePaul at age 25 -- and played drums in a Metallica cover band along the way.

A legally ordained minister, Darion has married two couples, with a third one coming later this year.

QA TesterAlto, tenor, soprano – Hutch is a master of all things saxophone, and has recorded on two albums, as well as peformed live on an American Idol season finale. Before joining Scopely as Lead Tester, Hutch worked as an eSports columnist, covering dozens of League of Legends tournaments.

Mobile DeveloperAs a freshman at Harvard, Ben journeyed to the Russian tundra with his brother to make a documentary about aboriginal Siberian reindeer herders. Thanks to years of high school debate, Ben can tell how much time has passed without a clock – a skill he willfully ignores during his marathon coding sessions.
